On the blog today is Nicole Lye from Tamworth who has made this great card from stamps she made from our abstract shapes die . Very Clever! To learn how she did this read below

White Card base. White cardstock. Cut paint splatter from foam sheet. Adhere to acrylic block. Stamp splatters in random colours. (Distress oxides Carved Pumpkin, Squeezed Lemonade, Blueprint Sketch, Cracked Pistachio, Candied Apple).

Splatter diluted gold paint and Black Soot oxide reinker over stamping. Die cut with border die.

Stamp sentiment with versafine onyx black and clear heat emboss. Mount onto card base with Jac paper with black border using black glitter pen.

To make foam stamps

Cut desired die out of fun foam which has adhesive tape on the back. Note: only go through once when cutting – Do not go forward and back.

Remove adhesive cover but keep.

Before adhering to acrylic block, gently press onto clothing and remove some of the adhesive.

Apply ink and stamp away.

To clean, gently wipe with baby wipes and dry with a microfibre cloth.

Once finished remove from block and reattach adhesive cover.

More intricate dies are harder to remove from block and cannot be re used. In this instance use de-solve it to remove the foam stamp and all adhesive.

Solid shapes can be removed and reused.
